The gas inlet and outlet are equipped with double sealing discs separated by a flexible, rigid or spring tube. The design also ensures that at least one disc will always remain firmly attached to the pipe wall, creating a 100% seal. The discs are resistant to UV and temperatures up to 330ºC for up to one hour. The gas is dispersed into the chamber via a built-in sintered diffuser and exits through the exhaust holes in the secondary twin disc unit. This gas diffusion process ensures a uniform gas flow and prevents any gas turbulence behind the weld, thus minimizing the risk of oxygen in the welding chamber while achieving an extremely short discharge time. These extremely short cleaning times result in valuable savings in gas costs and time.
